Got great value for money queen room with character as expected, enjoyed it. The most important was the staff - helpful and very friendly efficient people.

All of the staff were exceptionally nice, amiable. The location was great in the lovely area. Also, it was 3 km from Yanwath Hall. The restaurant was popular and food was excellent!

Comfortable, tidy place, worth its 3 stars. Very friendly and helpful people are working. The location is absolutely perfect and excellent, near to open fields, restaurant, and another pub, you cannot beat it. At the English bar they serve amazing food and drinks.

They gave us brand-new room with character. It was nice to have an electric kettle, central heating, and an iron. The location offered was nice and absolutely perfect adjacent to all communal areas, Ullswater and another pub nearby.

The staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring a comfortable stay. The location, away from the busy central Lakes, allowed for a peaceful atmosphere. The breakfast was a delicious way to start the day.
